Devlog #7 Progress update: October 2025

Hello, happy October! 🍂  

I had a pretty productive summer, so I’m happy to report that chapters 3 and 4 are officially coded! That only leaves chapter 5 and the epilogue before the whole thing is done! Yay! (okay, more like the beta version will be done, but that’s still a big milestone 😌)  

Art-wise, I managed to draw 4 new CGs, finished 2 that were missing backgrounds, and refreshed the sprites of two familiar characters (which only reminded me how much I miss them 🥲).

In the next two months, I hope to complete chapter 5 (which I have already started working on) and finish writing the epilogue so that it can be coded as well. Chapter 5 might be a little art-heavy depending on the way I’m going to approach it, but I haven’t decided that yet, so we’ll see how it works out. 🤔 But with the base text already written, I expect everything else to go smoothly. 👌 

In other news, I’d like to get some input for this year’s Halloween drawing! I made a poll so you can vote which characters you’d like to see (I’ll draw the two most voted characters, so I’m curious what kinda duo it’ll be).
